Hi, thanks for visiting my blog. I'm starting this one out with some of my favourite tattoos from the last couple weeks, then i've got some random photos from The Harvest Moon Festival, and out and about in the city and at Garbage hill.
If you'd like to be tattooed, email me at bram_adey@hotmail.com . Also, if you'd like to receive first crack at last minute bookings and receive updates about booking etc... email me with the subject line "mailing list" and I'd be glad of it.
For an old friend.
I recon we did this across four or five sessions, I think it's feeling complete by now. I find it a pretty significant challenge when working on and around older work to not hesitate to approach it with a new style despite what's already there, I was grateful during this project to have been allowed to approach each session with a fresh perspective, I'm really happy with this one, it was a challenge.

Again, working with people across a long enough timeline, it's always exciting to grow together and know one another across long periods of our lives. This sleeve hasn't been in the works too long, but it does feel like a significant time to get to know one another and to create something really cool. Some flash, some custom, probably across the last five years or so.
A little something lighthearted for an old client.
They also had these healed pieces from the last couple years. I'm really proud of this snake.
This meadowlark design from my flash is a bit of a "best-of" by now, I've done it a couple times.
Now this arm, I know, I started working on at least eight years ago, I remember being in the back room at Rebel Waltz making that butterfly on the back of their forearm. We've put in a couple larger sessions with flash-inspired designs in the last couple years, and now it's feeling pretty nice and complete. It honestly means so much to me to see so many of these huge collections day-to-day.
This week's contribution, the inner arm...
and elbow.
Another fine collection, I made all except the mountain-scape on this upper arm. Again, some flash , some custom.
I kinda goofed the photo of the inner part of this sleeve, but again, I'm happy with this composition.
I'm happy with this photo, they were a great model!

The Family and I attended the Harvest Moon Festival earlier this month. Shalynn was selling brooms, and I was happy to see a few bands. Fontine, Heartbeat City, Dominique Adams, and Field Guide all played well and I enjoyed myself just fine. I don't care a whole lot for a festival to be honest, but a little dose was fine, and it was nice to hear some music I hadn't heard before.
Shalynn made a whole lot of brooms this year, and it's been inspiring to see her create pieces of use and great beauty.
Getting out of town.

A time to laugh, a time to weep.
Thanks for taking the time to check out what I've been up to lately. Feel free to email me at bram_adey@hotmail.com , i'm always happy to talk and hear opinions of tattoos, photography, etc...
