Hi, welcome to the blog. My name is Bram Adey, and I've been tattooing in Winnipeg for sixteen years. I make black and grey tattoos, often nature themed, but do lots of custom work in varying themes as well. Here are some new tattoos from the last few weeks, as well as some new available designs from my ongoing work "Our Wild World" of Manitoba and environs wildlife designs.
Pussy-Willow tattoo - Forearm
From my aforementioned collection "Our Wild World", and Drawn from life, spring 2025.
Pine cones and needles - Forearm/wrist tattoo
This design is based on an older flash design i had available, updated and customized to fill the top of the client's wrist.
Snake tattoo - Forearm
I generally draw snakes based roughly on the form and patterning of the red sided garter snake that is the most common around Manitoba.
Cougar tattoo - Upper Arm
Another one from "Our Wild World", based on the drawings of Dwayne Harty in the book "Manitoba's Big Cat"
Badger chest tattoo - Custom
To compliment the coyote on the other side by my friend Brit from Montreal.
Peony and Flames - Calf Tattoo
An older flash design from my archive of available designs.
Hognose Snake - Custom Back Tattoo
Another of our native snake species.
Loon and Bison tattoos - Upper Arm
Dagger and Peonies - Shin tattoo
From my archive of available designs.
Custom snake tattoo - Outer calf
Lilac floral tattoo - inner elbow
The Following are some new available flash designs
Mallard Duck - Tattoo Flash design
Black eyed susan - tattoo flash design
After roughing out a good twenty sheets of flash for this project, i was left with quite a few little gaps here and there, so i've been taking time to make up some smaller design to fill the spaces:
Black Widow - Tattoo flash design
Various bugs - insect tattoo flash
Loons - tattoo flash designs
Loon - tattoo flash design
I picked up "The Silmarillion" recently to give it a re-read, and was inspired by the description of the two trees to make up these interpretations of the flowers of the two trees. If you're a Tolkien lover and would like these tattoos, drop me a line, I'd love to do them or some version of them!
Thanks a lot for checking out my blog. If you'd like to come get tattooed, drop me a line at bram_adey@hotmail.com , my books are always open, and I'd love to see you!
-Bram
