October 2024 - Tattoos, The Studio, and Around the City

Hello, thanks for visiting the blog!  Here are some new tattoos from the last couple weeks (October 2024).
After the tattoo gallery, you'll find some photos from around the studio, then some random walkaround type of stuff from my life, Enjoy!

As always, email me at bram_adey@hotmail.com for tattoo bookings.

Super-committed client!  I love the contrast between the bold/agressive stomach piece and the delicacy of the new chest-piece.

New for the flash-books.

I've been doing a fair amount of this calligraphy brush style of tattoo lately, I'm happy with the results and will continue for sure!

On another great, really committed client, we've nearly made two full sleeves by now!

This one came from my book of avaialable designs, and will now be retired.

Maybe my Favourite crow tattoo to date, based on a Kyosai painting

I'm real proud of this little one.  Small ones are hard!

An available design, for an upper arm or lower leg, based on Audobon's Thresher painting.

Another available design, an upper-arm most likely.  Based on Yamamoto's crows in a snowstorm.

Here is Ezra photographing some pieces on a great client of the shop, they've got work from Ezra and I, as well as travelling artists Brit Kornel and Carrie Bryson.

I made this tiny snake and Ezra made the flowers.

Flower by Ezra

Cat By Carrie Bryson, Kiss by Brit Kornel

Gun lady by Brit Kornel, Moon by me.

It was a little bit of a heavy month, with Holly leaving Ritual, but I'm stoked for her and excited to see what she gets up to in the months/years to come!

by the one and only: Ky Quirring.

Thus ends the Tattoo portion of the blog.  The rest of these are just photos from around the city, etc...

Fall is upon us.

Seven-eleven closing it's more ghetto locations in the city made headlines this last month, but I personally am happy any time big franchises move out of my neighborhood.

Though boarded-up buildings on busy intersections are pretty sad.

The Hignell Printing building on Burnell is my favourite.

Meanwhile, at Garbage Hill:

This road just got a facelift to be completely soft curbs... looks rippable, skate-wise.

Geurtsy, Front Nose

Jer, Fakie back-tail

Kyle, Crooks

Relics of a bad-time.

Bokeh test on the Nikkor 50mm f1.4

You did it!  Thanks for checking out my blog, bless your heart!
