make like brothers

in lima, at that sketchy book stand, i was just poking around, looking at old dictionaries and algebra textbooks when the guy asked if i wanted english novels. i said yes, and he started pulling out old dime store paperbacks, and i thought "i might as well tell him not to bother." but then out of the stack, he pulled a copy of the outsiders. i used to really dig it, but havent read it in years. well, i guess being alone will make you FEEL alot. and as i read it, even realising how basic and at times juvenile the ideas were, it got to me. i cried at least five times. i dont know why im tellin everyone this, except that i think it attests to my current mental state.

a couple good passages

"if we needed them tomorow, they`d show."

""it`s okay." i said, wishing i was dead and buried somewhere."

"i could picture hundreds and hundreds of boys living on the wrong sides of cities, boys with black eyes who jumped at their own shadows. hundreds of boys who maybe watched sunsets and looked at stars and wished for something better."

i`m not actually gonna do a full-on blog here, i really wanted to, but the internet`s being a total fucker, so im just posting a couple thoughts.

i already miss the fenix. jamie and andy, if you stop in guayaquil for a second, go to this place, its on quito ave. maybe three blocks up from avenida 9 de octubre. go during the day for the set lunch.

this is the view of guayaquil from joan`s apartment. its funny how drastically your view of things can change from one day to the next. how the company you`re in can alter your perception. this isn`t that deep a thought really, its nice to be reminded though.

i did this drawing the other day. it`s for andy larkin. its called "make like brothers"

honestly, ive never seen anything like this internet, im OUTTY!

bramwell, if you ever get bored, know that you can keep ups on my blog...i'm actually succeeding at updates. though i lost my digi, so its back to the oc.

the bra i'm burning in that article is the same colour as the one tatted on my leg (that being purple)...

you once said that if i tattoo'd a burning bra you would too...just sayin'.

i can't wait to come home, missin' ya, we'll party.
